I do hope he didn't turn out too boring personality wise |D''
Please excuse me my non-existing writing skills in his bio.
Noctis Aes Sidhe Gender:
silver edition D.o.b.:
February 10th (Aquarius)
20 (Physically atleast)
5'9'' // 1,76m
156lbs // 71 kg
Light grey, dark blue sclera
Name of Star:
Ignatz (or lovely called Iggy most of the time)
Possibly pansexual (I doubt he knows that two people of the same gender can be together though..)
Noctis is for the most part quite friendly. He tries his best when approaching people, wanting to leave a good first impression.
If his conversational partner seems interesting, curiousity will soon get the best of him. He'll ask questions about specific parts of their looks, their interests, not instantly knowing when something is actually starting to become unappropriate. However, he will try to apologize if it is pointed out. He's mostly calm in nature.
He is easily drawn to persons that share his interests or simply have a silent/mysterious aura about them. Consciously or not, it is possible that he'll start being rather clingy towards those kind of people, already considering them as a friend in his head after spending a short amount of time with them.
He has the habbit of caring for his friend's problems more than his own, thinking it's better to not tell them if not necessary. Fortunately, he is not known to attract problems and rather rarely gets any that actually bother him.
Haboring a deep love for stories, fairy tales and the like, he possesses many books, pages already colord yellow over the years. People's stories also greatly interest him. Don't be surprised if he starts crying over a touching story, he can get very emotional and is not afraid to show it openly. Just be afraid that he'd want to hug the hell out of you.
Playing with his fire
Fruits & tea (fruit tea is a plus)
His feathers being wet or dirty
Felines (being a bird and such..)
Having his wings/feathers touched without knowing
Being lied to
Being a phoenix, he is naturally capable of using fire. His flames are blue, however.
He is able to eat fire. Be it from a candle, campfire, or entirely other people's flames.
Very rarely harmed by fire. (Just avoids being burned because he favors wearing clothes. They're not fire resistant |D)
If spending quite some time in water, he can't produce any flames right away. He needs to get dryer first. His flying abilities reduce abit too if soaked.
Naturally, he needs enough space for his wings to move if he wants to fly. Don't count on him if you need him to fly in too narrow places.
He is not able to consume big fires though. It also depends on the other person's skill with fire if he will be able to eat it or not.
He seldomly says no to people, even if they ask him to do something he is not exactly comfortable with. (He pretty much enjoys doing senseless things from time to time too tho)
Like it was typical for phoenixes, Noctis was reborn from the ashes, without any previous memories or knowing as of why he was alone. Truth be told, the young bird did not care much at this point. He simply ate the fruits that occasional fell from the trees and never moved far away from his place. Nothing changed for a few years.
That was until one day an old man found his way into the deep forest Noctis resided in. He was a researcher, making his way through. The man quickly was intrigued by the youngling. Slowly but steadily he approached Noctis, convincing him of being harmless. After many tries and patience being tested, he finally succeeded.
Fascinated, Siegfried (the man...) returned everyday and studied the mythical bird. Not only did he do his research, but he also taught Noctis along the way. Years were spent with Siegfried simply watching the younger grow and teaching him how to speak properly, read, and even fly. (With some difficulties including Siegfried on trees and later bruises) Soon Noctis grew very attached to books, learning of things he had never imagined without even leaving his forest.
desperately needed money to keep up with all of his finances. He thought it was time to make his discovery public. Easily he had convinced Noctis in following him. Soon enough interested parties showed up, wanting to pay anything for the rare being. Others just wanted to test the phoenix's limits, not hesitating in experiments. It was not much of a surprise as Noctis simply panicked and felt betrayed by the old researcher. With minimal difficulties, Noctis fled the same night, scared of this society.
Unfortunately it was now well-known that there was a phoenix boy on the loose. Sure enough, search parties have gathered for his capture, yet he hasn't been caught.
Noctis started leaving his hurt feelings behind. He soon became joyous even; he got to see many places he wished to visit, previously only known from his beloved books.
Years passed and he became annoyed, sad once again. He always had to be careful of hunters, was not able to stay at one place too long, not able to forge any deep friendships again. He just wished he could stop running, settle down somewhere peaceful, be at ease.
As if his prayer had been answered, in one long night, he saw a strange person, surrounded by light. Too curious for his own good he approached him. He has been told about a, seemingly, wonderful place and given one of the lights. Surprised as it turned out to be a star. Brushing all his doubts away and replacing them with hope, he traveled to that place, First-Haven. It seemed to be just how Noctis had imagined it. Mind settled, he would make himself a new home here.
- As already mentioned, he loves reading about fairy tales. Those aside, he enjoys reading books that also futher his abilities. Be it fighting tips, mythology, different cultures and places, he likes them all. (Except herbal lore. It bores him for some reason.)
- He likes to play with his fire because he loves the warmth it emits and how it looks so simply lively. Never having thought different about it, he's oblivious to the chaos it can cause. (Strangely hasn't burnt down anything important yet)
- Prefers night over day. Just likes how the fire glows in the dark and has always thought of stars being little balls of flames, high in the sky.
- He constantly greets the people he likes with a hug.
- The hair at the back of his head are rather (literally) feathery
