Brave little doge„Mum, I'm home!“
„Welcome home, sweetheart,“ Mommy Dog replied happily. „Oh, what's that long face for? What's wrong, my dear?“ She sounded worried. Puppy Dog indeed looked quite upset, if that big frown on her face was anything to go by.
„It's nothing...“ Puppy Dog answered softly, turning her face to the side. It looked like she was trying to hide something... This, of course, didn't go by unnoticed by Mommy Dog. „Oh Heather, I know when you're lying. I won't be angry, now tell me.“ Slowly but surely Puppy Dog Heather complied and faced her mother, who in turn leaned in to get a better look. She gasped. „What happened? Where did you get that?!“ The skin around Puppy Dog's left eye was a light purple and it was slightly swollen. „You said you wouldn't get angry at me...“ The smaller dog's ears seemed to be dropping somewhat, not hiding her disappointment in the least. Mommy Dog nudged her nose against
OTPPrompt: First Time"M-maybe Arjun will come in?"
And Caedes was promptly dropped onto the cushions of the bed.
"You know he won’t. No excuses."
He laughed nervously, trying to cover the slight trembling in his voice.
"Excuses? Me? Have you hit your head on the way to the bedroom?"
Fidelis practically crawled on top of him, looming over his figure. Placing a soft kiss to the crow’s forehead he spoke again.
"Shush. There’s no need to be nervous."
He dipped his head yet again to kiss his lover’s eyebrow. Said lover was quick to retort.
"I’m not… nerv-“
The protest was quickly cut off by the other man’s finger on his lips and another kiss to the bridge of his nose.
"Don’t lie to me, Caedes."
And he went still. Fidelis, however, continued. The man’s lips found his way to his cheeks next, then a closed eyelid, the tip of his nose, corner of the mouth, all soft and reassuring in their own way.
This earned a chuckle from the taller man.
OTPPrompt: SickHe was prepared to be treated like an outsider, a criminal, to be beaten to near death and tortured just to be thrown aside to heal and let it start anew. Just like he deserved.
What he didn’t expect to happen was to be carried into a quite nice looking bedroom and being treated. And yet, this was exactly what has been going on these past days. Bedridden by the lovely Arjun. How his „friend“ could still stand him was beyond Caedes. He did lead the enemy troops to their homeland’s doorstep and, to make it abit more personal, knocked little naive Arjun out and left him somewhere in the nearby forest, which turned out wasn’t as safe as originally thought. Well, atleast safer than the bloodbath above. Caedes chuckled. Heh, bloodbath. How ironic.
Now he coughed. Damn that cold, not even allowed to chuckle properly. He didn’t even have the time to let it die down before someone entered his temporary room. Okay, he currently has more than he could wish for
Nine TimesI saw him nine times.
The first time we were both sitting in the room together, getting ready to take the math test that would determine our placement. I was scatterbrained and throwing things around, trying to find the pencils that I had known I would need but had still just tossed in my purse. He was lounging backwards in his chair, looking for all the world as though he didn’t have a single care in the world, including the upcoming test. It annoyed me, that I was frantic and ready to scream, while someone else could be that relaxed.
I tested out of the class.
I don’t know if he did.
The second time I saw him, it was a few months after I arrived on campus. He was the one rushing and frantic this time, running across the square. He was probably late for class, though I had no way of knowing for sure. I was already lost in my own thoughts and ideas, deciding on my major and convincing people that yes, this is what I really want to do with my life. If they weren
